What happens when you ask Sia

Your question, the recent turns of the same conversation, and any photo you attach are sent from our server to OpenAI to generate the answer. We ask OpenAI not to store the request. Photos are used for that one answer and are not saved on our servers or in your history.

Sia has no live retailer data. She gives price context and availability guidance from general knowledge, and the retailer shows the real price when you get there. If she says a fit is Verified, Likely, or Unknown, that is her honest confidence, not a guarantee.

Guests do not need an account. We keep a random session identifier in your browser so we can apply fair-use limits and count usage; it is not linked to your identity.

Your account and memory

Signing in uses Supabase authentication with Google, Apple, or a passkey. We store your account identifier and email, and the Personal or Business profiles you create. The memory text in a profile is written and edited only by you, shown back to you in full, and sent to OpenAI with your questions so Sia can check compatibility and avoid recommending things you already own. Profiles under one login never share data with each other.

Sia Watch stores the product, your intent (target price, availability, better fit, or simply remember), and an optional target price. No monitoring or alerts run until a retailer provides a compliant data feed; we will say so on this page when that changes.

Do not put passwords, payment details, health information, or children's personal details in memory. We do not ask for them and Sia does not need them.

Retailer links and how we make money

Shop with SI is free. When a retailer program has approved us, links to that retailer carry an affiliate identifier and we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. Each button says whether it is an affiliate link. Links marked “not an affiliate link” earn us nothing.

Commission never changes what Sia recommends. Her ranking is produced before any retailer link is attached, and she is never told which retailer pays. Nobody can buy a recommendation position.

You buy on the retailer's own site with their account, checkout, and returns. We never see or store your retailer passwords or payment cards.

As an Amazon Associate, SI Technologies earns from qualifying purchases. Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Walmart links, when shown, are program-issued and marked as advertisements.

What we measure

We record events such as page views, questions asked, whether a photo was used, compatibility checks, Better Buy verdicts, retailer clicks, watch requests, and questions we could not monetize. Events carry your session identifier and, if signed in, your account identifier. We use them to improve Sia and to decide which retailers to add next. We do not sell this data.

Medical equipment

Contact and control

You can edit or empty your memory at any time on your account page, stop any watch, and sign out. To delete your account and its data, email ty@sitechnologiesllc.com from the address on the account.
